The Reno County HomeSchool Sabres can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 52-34 win over Stafford. Reno County HomeSchool's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Reno County HomeSchool can attribute much of their success to Anne Schawe, who scored 22 points along with nine steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Schawe has scored at least a third of Reno County HomeSchool's points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Spexarth, who scored four points along with two steals.
Reno County HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Stafford, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
