Basketball Game Preview: Muhlenberg Muhls vs. Governor Mifflin Mustangs

For the first time this season, Muhlenberg will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Governor Mifflin Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Muhlenberg knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Governor Mifflin likes a good challenge.

Muhlenberg is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since January 22nd on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 win over Methacton.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Governor Mifflin ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They slipped by Red Land 49-48.

Muhlenberg's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Governor Mifflin, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Muhlenberg came out on top in a nail-biter against Governor Mifflin in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 40-38. Will the Muhls repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
