With a playoff win on the line, Andrean rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the DeMotte Christian Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Fighting 59ers as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Leading Andrean to victory were Mitch Cadwalder and Tyler Tate. Cadwalder had eight digs and three aces, while Tate had three aces. What's more, Cadwalder posted four assists, the most he's had since back in March.

They weren't the only good servers: Andrean was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Andrean's victory bumped their record up to 27-3. As for DeMotte Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coming up, Andrean will take on Boone Grove at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. DeMotte Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
