Wesson played against Port Gibson on Tuesday and won via forfeit.

Wesson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Port Gibson, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wesson will head out to take on Pisgah at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Gibson, they will square off against South Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
