Baseball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norton Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-6 on Monday.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Norton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

While Springfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
