Softball Game Preview: Hamilton Big Blue vs. Milford Eagles

The Hamilton Big Blue will challenge the Milford Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hamilton 3.9, Milford 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Hamilton's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Lakota West hitters got past them. The Big Blue fell 13-10 to the Firebirds on Friday. The Big Blue's loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Milford entered their tilt with Anderson on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Raptors.

Lanie McCoy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. Paige Kinkaid was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Milford, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
