Basketball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 4-5. They were dealt a 42-14 loss at the hands of the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-19 back in November.

As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, their record now sits at 10-5. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Camdyn Hough out in front who shot 40% from the field en route to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Morrison, who posted eight points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Legacy Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 45-14 defeat against Anahuac on the 12th. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Burkeville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
