Baseball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dansville Aggies. The Ramblers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aggies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brady Burns was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Olyan McFarland, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Dansville, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Aggies beat Perry by a score of 7-4 later that day.
