Basketball Recap: Joshua Collins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Valleys over Hug

North Valleys was the 50-45 winner over Hug when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The North Valleys Panthers fell 58-50 to the Hug Hawks on Wednesday.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Joshua Collins, who went 9 of 19 to rack up 21 points and eight boards. Those eight rebounds gave Collins a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah White, who posted 12 points.

North Valleys has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season. As for Hug, they pushed their record up to 11-13 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

North Valleys has already played their next game, a 70-63 defeat against Wooster on the 7th. As for Hug, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 84-59 victory against Truckee on the 7th.
