Prince Avenue Christian extended their home winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Andrew Beard. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Westside Seminoles with a sharp 43-22 win on Friday thanks in part to Beard, who rushed for 113 yards and a pair of TDs on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.

Although Westside took the loss, they still got scores from Tyleik Flint, Syveon Hodges, and James Neville.

Prince Avenue Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Westside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince Avenue Christian will venture away from home to take on Blessed Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westside, they will face off against Westover at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
