Savannah Christian entered their tilt with Toombs County on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Savannah Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-20.

Ella Quinney paced Savannah Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Quinney got some help from Carinne Cason and her ten assists. Cason was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Savannah Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Toombs County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

After both having extra time off, Savannah Christian and Bluffton will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Toombs County, they will take on Woodville-Tompkins at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
