After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Meadow Bridge, Montcalm was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Richwood Lumberjacks to the tune of 28-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Generals as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Montcalm's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-5. As for Richwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montcalm will host Bland County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Richwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richwood will be up against Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
