Baseball Recap: Palmview Beats Mission for Their Third Straight Win

Palmview waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 victory over the Mission Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lobos have posted against the Eagles since April 18, 2017.

Palmview saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jorge Garza, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs Garza has posted since back in March. Another was Jaxzel Cantu, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

Palmview's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Mission, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Palmview beat the Eagles by a score of 10-0 on Friday.
