Basketball Recap: East Rowan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

East Rowan suffered their closest loss since December 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the North Iredell Raiders by a score of 69-66. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

North Iredell's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaden Zachary, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 16 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Nate Bunton, who shot 70% from the field on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

East Rowan's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for North Iredell, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, East Rowan will challenge West Davidson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Iredell, they will face off against East Wilkes at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
