Volleyball Recap: Miller City's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Miller City lost against Tinora back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

While Miller City ultimately came up short, they really made Tinora work, particularly in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-15, 19-25, 25-15, 28-26.

Quincy Moenter paced Miller City's offense, picking up 11 kills. Moenter got some help from Payton Michel and her 14 assists. Michel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Miller City fell to 4-1. As for Tinora, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Miller City will be playing at home against Patrick Henry at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tinora, they will head out to face off against Liberty Center at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
