Softball Recap: Ocean Lakes Dolphins vs. Green Run Stallions
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ocean Lakes). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Green Run Stallions an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dolphins needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Sam Patterson and Kaitlyn Wilms made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Patterson struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. As for Green Run, they will be playing at home against Kellam at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Stallions' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
