Sumter extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 9-1. They were the clear victors by a 52-27 margin over the Westwood Redhawks. The Gamecocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

As for Westwood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Westwood took the loss, they still got scores from Tyrek Jenkins, Quentin McGill Jr, and Jovan Howard.
