Basketball Recap: Swansea Comes Up Short

Swansea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Saluda Tigers 72-37. Swansea was down 52-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Swansea still got an impressive performance from Donnell Goodwin, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Goodwin is also crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Swansea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Saluda, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Swansea didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-28 loss against Lake Marion on the 7th. Saluda has also already played their next game, a 57-33 win against Mid-Carolina on the 10th.
