After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Midland Classical Academy, Abilene Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Weatherford Express HomeSchool Express to the tune of 53-16. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Weatherford Express HomeSchool still got an impressive performance from Brock Burdick, who posted nine points.

Abilene Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Weatherford Express HomeSchool, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Abilene Christian will take on Frenship Memorial at 1:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Weatherford Express HomeSchool, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 45-41 defeat against Mercy Culture Prep on the 20th.
