Davenport posted their closest win since April 29, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lake Gibson Braves, sneaking past 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Broncos also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Davenport saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Duran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Riley Cresswell was another, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.

Davenport's record is now 4-6. As for Lake Gibson, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Davenport will face off against Haines City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Davenport will need to watch out since Haines City has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Lake Gibson, they will take on Winter Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
