Basketball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Falls Short of Old Lyme in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coginchaug Regional can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 56-49 to the Old Lyme Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Coginchaug Regional's loss dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Old Lyme, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-3.
