Football Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Comes Up Short

Andrew Jackson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 30-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northside Christian Academy Crusaders. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 22-7 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Andrew Jackson Academy still got an impressive performance from Hall Sease, who rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns.

Andrew Jackson Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Northside Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Andrew Jackson Academy is taking a road trip to challenge Calhoun Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northside Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Spartanburg Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. The Crusaders will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.8 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
