Southwest had won 11 straight games and Kyra Nelms did her part to make it 12 on Saturday. The Southwest Roughriders managed a 46-42 win over the Southern Valley Eagles thanks in part to Nelms, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 17 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (eight).

Southwest's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
