Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral Comes Up Short

St. Cloud Cathedral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 70-61 to the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Mainstreeters are ranked 75th).

St. Cloud Cathedral's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Sauk Centre, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

Looking ahead, St. Cloud Cathedral will take on Little Falls at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Sauk Centre has already played their next matchup (against Royalton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
