Baseball Recap: North Shelby Comes Up Short

North Shelby fell victim to Schuyler County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 22-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

North Shelby saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Hunolt, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Hunolt's first of the season.

North Shelby now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Schuyler County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, North Shelby will head out to square off against Monroe City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Schuyler County, they will welcome Canton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
