Soccer Recap: Monroe Comes Up Short

Monroe lost against Lakeside Lutheran back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cheesemakers fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Monroe have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Monroe and nudges their season record down to 5-4-1. As for Lakeside Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.

Coming up, Monroe will be playing in front of their home fans against Big Foot at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakeside Lutheran, they will head out to take on Columbus at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
