Loveland posted their closest win since September 17, 2024 on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Holy Family Tigers 2-1. The Red Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Holy Family lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Taylor Hillegass, who had eight assists and seven digs.

The win made it two in a row for Loveland and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Holy Family, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Loveland has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bayfield on the 6th. As for Holy Family, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Platte Valley on the 6th.
