Baseball Recap: Lynbrook Takes a Loss

Lynbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Cupertino Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-4 back in March.

Lynbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Cupertino, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lynbrook will take on James Lick at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Comets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.57 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cupertino, they will square off against Monta Vista at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
