Tyner Academy has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Sweetwater Wildcats who were credited with the win on Thursday. If Tyner Academy were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Sweetwater when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tyner Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1. As for Sweetwater, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tyner Academy will head out to square off against Polk County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tyner Academy is facing Polk County at the right time seeing as Polk County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Sweetwater, they will venture away from home to face off against Tellico Plains at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
