Basketball Recap: Martinsville Comes Up Short

Martinsville lost against Virginia High back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Martinsville Bulldogs had to suffer through a 61-29 loss at the hands of the Virginia High Bearcats. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Martinsville's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Virginia High, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Martinsville has already played their next contest, a 60-44 defeat against Winfield on the 25th. As for Virginia High, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 79-52 win against Chilhowie on the 25th.
