Volleyball Recap: Dunnellon Tigers vs. Vanguard Knights

Dunnellon had lost four straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 4-9 to make it five. They fell just short of the Vanguard Knights by a score of 3-2. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

As for Vanguard, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since March 11th.

Lazaro Abuin had a dynamite game, getting 11 kills and eight blocks. Those eight blocks gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Bone, who had 25 assists.

As of now, neither Dunnellon nor Vanguard have any future games scheduled.
