Basketball Recap: Tri-City Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Five

Tri-City Christian Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Romeo Salcido. The Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors really took it to the James Madison Preparatory School Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-31 victory thanks in part to Salcido, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 13 boards. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Trisdan Moreland, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and seven steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game.

Tri-City Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.4 points. As for James Madison Preparatory School, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on BASIS - Mesa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for James Madison Preparatory School, they will head out on the road to square off against A+ Charter School at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
