King City hit Gallatin with a five-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Wildkats by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Gallatin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for King City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Gallatin wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-6 defeat against Union Star on the 16th. King City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
