Volleyball Recap: Mid-Peninsula Comes Up Short

Mid-Peninsula lost against Pescadero back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dragons came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-12, 25-14.

Among those leading the charge was Perla Hernandez, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Mid-Peninsula's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Pescadero, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mid-Peninsula will take on rival San Francisco Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pescadero is set to square off against their familiar foe KIPP Esperanza at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
