Soccer Recap: Everglades Takes a Loss

Everglades entered their contest against Boyd Anderson on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Everglades Gators fell just short of the Boyd Anderson Cobras by a score of 3-2. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jorge Rey Iii and Alejandro Lara scored both of Everglades' goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Everglades' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for Boyd Anderson, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-3.

Everglades wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Monarch on the 11th. As for Boyd Anderson, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Hallandale on the 16th.
