League recap: Mexico scores huge upset over South Jefferson

The biggest upset of the week belonged to South Jefferson, who took down 221st ranked South Jefferson, 28-26.

Camden moved up to 150 from 228 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 3 Class B - East. The Blue Devils were able to make the jump by beating Carthage 30-14.

Oneida's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Rory McCarthy threw for 12 yards and Kyle Peck had 11 yards receiving. On the ground Dylan Cafalone chipped in 137 yards. Kyle George helped Oneida's passing attack out by catching one ball for one yard.

Oneida's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. McCarthy has thrown for 226 yards and three touchdowns this season, while Peck has 10 catches for 175 yards. Cafalone leads the league in rushing with 381 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Cazenovia takes on Camden. As it stands, the Lakers are in second, while Aaron Fiorini's team is in third.

Cazenovia took down Cortland 31-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
