The Poca Dots beat the Point Pleasant Big Blacks 2-0 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dots.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Poca took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-14.

Sophia Bailey paced Poca's offense, picking up ten kills. Bailey got some help from Abby Barnett and her 20 assists. Bailey also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ashlinn Sullivan, each putting up two.

Poca's win bumped their record up to 31-5-5. As for Point Pleasant, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-17-1.

Coincidentally, Poca and Point Pleasant will both be playing Nitro the next time they take the court. The Big Blacks will head out to face the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dots will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
