It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Middle Creek had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the West Brunswick Trojans 52-20. Considering the Mustangs have won seven games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lex Sevilla had an outrageously good game as he threw for 186 yards and one touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 87 yards on only eight carries. Those 87 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Ezra Jobe was another key player, rushing for 41 yards and three TDs.
