            Baseball Preview: Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans vs. Joseph City Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            The Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans will square off against the Joseph City Wildcats at 1:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Ash Fork/Seligman and three for Joseph City.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ash Fork/Seligman's offense. They came up short against  Salome on Tuesday, falling  13-0. The  game marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.
 Ash Fork/Seligman saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Branson Milius, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple.
Meanwhile, Joseph City lost  13-5 to Williams on Thursday.
  Heston Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with four  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.  King Robinson was another,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Joseph City's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Saturday as neither team is afraid to steal. Ash Fork/Seligman has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 5.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Joseph City struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.3  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Everything went Ash Fork/Seligman's way against Joseph City in their previous matchup  back in March, as Ash Fork/Seligman made off with  a  14-1 win. Will the Spartans repeat their success,  or do  the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
