Jennings hasn't had much luck against St. Edmund recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Jennings is taking a road trip to challenge St. Edmund at 4:00 p.m. Jennings is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7 runs per game this season.

Jennings came up short against South Beauregard on Tuesday, falling 14-4.

Ryleigh Daigle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Even though they lost, Jennings hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, St. Edmund was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-8 to Catholic of Pointe Coupee. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 5, 2017, but that streak is no more.

Jennings' defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for St. Edmund, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Jennings couldn't quite get it done against St. Edmund in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 as they fell 13-10. Can Jennings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
