Soccer Preview: Eldorado vs. Sandia Prep
After starting their season with two straight games on the road, Eldorado is finally coming home. They will be defending their home-pitch for the first time when they go up against the Sandia Prep Sundevils at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Eldorado's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Volcano Vista as Eldorado made off with a 3-0 win. The Golden Eagles' winning goal came courtesy of Emory Davis.
Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Sandia Prep was forced to settle for a draw. They and Volcano Vista finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Eldorado now has a winning record of 1-0-1. With that draw, Sandia Prep's record moves to 1-0-1.
