Volleyball Recap: Whale Branch Takes a Loss

Whale Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cartersville Hurricanes.

Whale Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cartersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-6 record this season.

Whale Branch will face off against Edisto at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cartersville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Hilton Head Island on the 27th.
