Softball Recap: Zephyrhills Christian Academy Falls Short of Academy at the Lakes in the Playoffs

Zephyrhills Christian Academy and Academy at the Lakes squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Zephyrhills Christian Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Warriors haven't been shut out since back in February.

Zephyrhills Christian Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Academy at the Lakes, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

As of now, neither Zephyrhills Christian Academy nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
