Baseball Recap: Burncoat Comes Up Short

Burncoat was the 8-7 winner over Keefe Tech when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots fell 11-8 to the Broncos on Friday. Patriots fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Broncos since Friday.

Burncoat now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Keefe Tech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Burncoat is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Doherty Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The game will give the Patriots their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Keefe Tech, they will challenge Montachusett RVT at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
