Soccer Recap: Christian Academy of Knoxville Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Christian Academy of Knoxville was not quite Webb's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Webb Spartans by a score of 2-1. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 6-0 to the Spartans when the teams met back in April of 2021, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Christian Academy of Knoxville's goal came courtesy of Colby Stokely, who's now up to eight this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Christian Academy of Knoxville and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Webb, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Christian Academy of Knoxville will face off against Macon County at 8:30 p.m. on March 21st. Webb will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 27th.
