Volleyball Preview: Summit Christian Academy Eagles vs. Harrisonville Wildcats        
        
		
             Summit Christian Academy has been on the road for two straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Harrisonville Wildcats  at 6:30  p.m. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Monday,  everything went Summit Christian Academy's way against Northland Christian as Summit Christian Academy made off with  a  3-0 win.
 One reason for the win was Summit Christian Academy's dynamic defense, which allowed fewer and fewer points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20,  25-15.
 Among those leading the charge was   Ashlynn Brown, who  had 14  digs.
 Meanwhile, Harrisonville came tearing into  last Tuesday's  match with three straight wins  and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Blackhawks.
 Harrisonville was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-22, 19-25,  25-21.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kenzie Verstraete, who  had 13  digs and two  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 12 or more in the last four games she's  played.
 Harrisonville  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in eight consecutive  contests.
 Summit Christian Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-6-1 record  this season. As for Harrisonville, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
 Summit Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid  victory over Harrisonville when the teams last played  back in September of 2020, winning  2-0.
