Flag Football Recap: Troi Brown Leads Bowdon's Defense on Wednesday

After flying high against Peach County two weeks ago, Bowdon came back down to earth. The Red Devils took a 13-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton Trojans on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Devils of the 13-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Bowdon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Troi Brown, Meg Robinson, and Kate Robinson picked up one apiece.

Bowdon now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carrollton, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Coincidentally, Bowdon and Carrollton will both be playing Central the next time they take the field. The Red Devils will head out to face the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
