 The Princeville Princes will look to defend their home field  on Monday against the Tremont Turks at 4:30  p.m. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Having struggled with eight  defeats in a row, Princeville finally turned things around against Stark County  on Friday. Princeville was the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over Stark County. Princeville's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last seven games.
  Claire Sutherland made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run over five innings pitched. Sutherland was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mekeya Cihla, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  McKenna Roberts, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Tremont came tearing into  Wednesday's  match with eight straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   7-3  victory over the Knights.
 Princeville's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Tremont, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-4-1.
