Basketball Game Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Industrial Cobras

The Tidehaven Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Industrial Cobras at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Tidehaven will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Tidehaven will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Columbus, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Tidehaven had just enough and edged Columbus out 52-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since December 20, 2024.

Meanwhile, Industrial posted their biggest win since December 17, 2024 on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 47-22 margin over Rice Consolidated. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cobras as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Industrial's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 19-13. As for Tidehaven, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 29-1.

Tidehaven came out on top in a nail-biter against Industrial when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 39-37. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tidehaven since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
