Basketball Recap: Hartford Takes a Loss

Hartford was the 82-64 winner over Sheboygan South when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Hartford Orioles fell to the Sheboygan South Redwings 82-78. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (69), the Orioles still had to take the loss.

Hartford has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points over those games. Sheboygan South's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sheboygan South beat Hartford by a score of 82-78 on Tuesday.
